Jarrett Halverson (1SG, USA Retired) serves as the Recruiting Operations Officer at the University of California, Davis, and California State University, Sacramento’s Army ROTC programs.

Mr. Halverson retired from the Army in 2018, after serving 27 years as an Infantryman. Prior to retirement, he served as a First Sergeant for 2-22 IN; 1-32IN and HHC, 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, and as the Senior Military Science Instructor at North Dakota State University. He joined the Forged Gold Battalion in February of 2021.

Mr. Halverson is a graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer’s Course, the Advanced Noncommissioned Officer’s Course, the First Sergeant and Commander’s Course, the Equal Opportunity Advisor Course, the Army Recruiter Course, and the Battle Staff NCO Course. He has a BS in Organizational Leadership and Learning and a MA in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville.
