Bio

CPT Alan T. Dugger began his Army career in 2015 as a Field Artillery officer. He has deployed in support of overseas operations in Korea and Lithuania and has served in a wide range of leadership and staff positions, from Battery Commander to Staff Officer in Charge, across multiple assignments.

In 2024, he transitioned to UC Davis, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science, training and mentoring cadets in the Forged Gold Battalion. Recently selected to serve in Army Space Operations, he is preparing for Intermediate Level Education and future assignments in space and strategic planning.

CPT Dugger holds a master’s degree in Space Studies and has published multiple articles on orbital warfare and space power competition. He continues to contribute to the professional dialogue on space and national security while developing the next generation of Army leaders.
