Bio

Captain Aiana Garin is an Army Signal Corps Officer who commissioned in 2009 from the U.S. Army’s Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia. In December 2017, she was assigned as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of California, Davis Army ROTC Program.

Captain Garin’s assignments include Battalion S6, 1st Armored Division Special Troops Battalion, Wiesbaden, Germany; Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer, 412th Aviation Support Battalion, Ansbach, Germany; Battalion S6, 22d Military Police Battalion (CID); Detachment Commander, 6th Military Police Group (CID); and Aide-de-Camp, Network Enterprise Technology Command, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. During her service, she has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Captain Garin is a graduate of the Signal Basic Officer Leadership Course and Signal Captain’s Career Course. Captain Garin graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington with a Bachelor of Art degree in Sociology.

She currently serves as the UC Davis Army ROTC program’s Assistant Professor of Military Science teaching the ROTC basic courses, as well as the Recruiting Officer.
