Captain Aiana Garin is an Army Signal Corps Officer who commissioned in 2009 from the U.S. Army’s Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia. In December 2017, she was assigned as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of California, Davis Army ROTC Program.

Captain Garin’s assignments include Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Battalion S6, Company Commander, and Aide-de-Camp. During her service, she has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Captain Garin is a graduate of the Signal Basic Officer Leadership Course and Signal Captain’s Career Course and is a graduate from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

She currently serves as the UC Davis Army ROTC program’s Assistant Professor of Military Science teaching the ROTC basic courses, as well as the Recruiting Officer.
