Bio

Captain Jina Kim is an Adjutant General officer in the California Army National Guard (CAARNG) who commissioned from the Army ROTC program at California State University, Fullerton in 2008. She has been serving as the Executive Officer and Operations Officer for the University of California, Davis and California State University, Sacramento’s Army ROTC programs since October 2017.

Captain Jina Kim’s most recent assignments were with the Headquarters Company, 115th Regional Support Group as the Company Commander and CAARNG Recruiting and Retention Battalion as the Resource Manager, which were both located in Roseville, California. She has also deployed once between the transition from Operation Iraqi Freedom to New Dawn.

Captain Jina Kim is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminology, Law, and Society. Her military awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, three Army Commendation Medals, the Army Achievement Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M device, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Combat Action Badge, and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
